*Spoiler* 2nd Reveal for BOOK 2 - The First Rose!

Welcome everyone!

It's Thursday and that means it's reveal time again! Today, I'm going to show off one of the new roses from Book 2. If you want to avoid all spoilers, leave now. This is only a small one, but it definitely gives something away.

Just to review, here is what the roses from Book 1 looked like:

Alright, with that taken care of, let's talk about what I'm revealing. This first rose is among the most unique that will ever appear in my books. Most of the roses are full-grown; however, this one is not. It's quite small, almost unobtrusive.

That might lead one to conclude it belongs to a child. It doesn't, but it is certainly suggestive about this character's mental and emotional condition. This character does not appear until mid-way through Book 2, but I chose this rose to go first because I think it's the most mysterious of the new images:

Notice how the bloom is closed so tightly and just how small it is. The leaves are young but strong, suggesting there is much live left in this flower. I also want to direct your attention to the stem. It's thin but strong and straight. The bloom only needs a little bit of coxing, some motivation perhaps, to fully realize its potential.

This is the first of five new roses I will be debuting in this novella. Next Thursday's will come to you from a different source. I hope you check in to see how it comes about. It will be something both new and familiar to those who've read The Huntsmen and the She-Wolf. It's from one of my personal favorite characters!

Until then, take care of each other.

Peace,

-Troy
